Questions importers actually ask
Straight answers on container quantities, testing, lead time and shipping. If your question isn’t here, send it — we’d rather answer it than have you guess.
We’re a full-container (FCL) export factory, so orders are sized and packed by the 40ft container. We can mix models inside a container, but we don’t do parcel quantities or drop-shipping. If that’s what you need, we’ll tell you straight rather than waste your time.
Because we work in containers, the real measure is models per 40HQ, not a unit MOQ. A stock model in a standard colour fills a container cheaper than a fully bespoke build with your own foam and packaging. Send the model and your container target and we’ll give you a real number.
Roughly 200 to 600 in a 40HQ, depending on the model and whether it ships knocked-down or assembled. KD packing raises the count and lowers freight per chair. We give you the exact loading plan with the quote so your landed cost is accurate.
We build and bench-test to BIFMA, EN and ANSI as the model and market require, under an ISO 9001:2015 quality system. We don’t claim held certificates we can’t show. When your order needs a stamped third-party report, we arrange testing through a lab such as SGS or TÜV and quote the fee up front.
Both. OEM means you bring the spec and we build it under your brand. ODM means you bring a market and a price and we develop the chair on our own mechanisms and moulds. See the OEM / ODM page for how each runs.
Samples are usually days to a couple of weeks. Production depends on container quantity, customisation and tooling — typically a few weeks for a standard run after sample sign-off, scaling with the number of containers. We commit to a date with the quote and flag it if a change pushes the timeline.
Most of the time, yes. Send a photo, a link or ideally a sample. We measure the frame, foam density, gas lift class and mechanism and quote to those. If matching it would make a weak chair, we’ll say so and suggest the change before you commit a container to it.
Output has been fully export since 2002 — Europe, the Americas, Asia and Africa, with long-standing programmes for European and US firms. We handle the export documents and pack for the destination’s requirements.
Use the form on the contact page or the message button at the bottom-right of any page. Tell us the model, the container count, your market and whether it’s OEM or ODM. We reply within one working day, China business hours.
